Impromptu Allotment Tour

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you’ve all had a great weekend –  We certainly did 🙂 Lots of doggie walking and playing on the allotment 🙂

On Saturday evening, I decided to pop out for some fresh air… Wellybobs at the ready and Jassy with her waggy tail – we set off out for a little tour of our allotments.  She’s so happy there (especially when she knows there’s a chance of catching the allotment cats…!)

It was quite a windy evening with a little chill in the air, but that didn’t stop us having a good look around all the pretty plots.  It’s just like being in another world when you’re there, it makes me so happy 🙂 – I could just sit and watch the world go by…

View of the Allotment

Beautiful paths

Walking round the maze of grass paths there are flowers everywhere – great food for the bees and butterflies! 😀

Happy sun flowers

More beautiful flowers

Sweet peas

Everywhere you look there are beautiful little elements that give the allotment plots their charm… 🙂

Bug houses

I love this little bug house. It’s given me inspiration for next year! 🙂 needless to say little bug houses will be on my list to Father Christmas this year 😀 ho ho ho

I'd love one of these

Me and Stew have always loved this plot. It was one of the first plots we saw when we came to the annual open day in 2009 – What a lovely place to sit and admire the fruits of your labour! 🙂

Quirky character shed

I love this little shed! It’s so full of character and charm 🙂

I hope you can see from just some of these pictures why we love having our plot and the world of allotmenting 😀  You can see more pictures from my allotment tour on my facebook page.

Have a great week folks! 🙂
