Our watering can has now retired for the winter after working so hard in the summer. I’ve decided to give him a little festive make over. Adding a little bit of colour and a nice Christmassy touch to our garden 🙂
The things I’ve used are :
- Berries (kindly given to me by my allotment friend who was cutting our lottie hedge)
- Pieces of Fir Tree
- A sprig of holly
- Couple of plastic bags to bulk out the inside of the watering can
Once I’d popped all my berries and greens into the watering can, I’ve left it by my backdoor 😀 A nice little festive feast for your eyes 🙂

Kaz, these pictures are lovely. I moderate a site called gardengrab which pulls together beautiful gardening blogs in one place. I think this would be perfect for it. Have al look when you have a moment and let me know what you think.
Hi Victoria, I’ve just had a look at gardengrab. It’s inspirational 😀 What a lovely and inspirational website! I love the photography. Thanks for your kind comment about my photography. Do you think I should submit anything? x
Yes, you should, either of the top two photographs would look lovely.
Thanks Victoria, I’ll look at posting them today. Thanks for telling me about it!
I’ve processed the picture so you should see it later today.
Great, thanks for that I look forward to seeing it 😀

I was inspired from an image I saw on facebook a few weeks ago 😀

Love this idea. Will need to track down some holly. Got the perfect enamel jug to fill with it.
Oh great! I’d love to see a picture 🙂 I’ve got two silver planters I might do the same and put then outside the front door 🙂 x
