Drip drip drop little April showers… today is a stark contrast to the glorious weather we had last Tuesday. Thankfully, I didn’t get soaked when I went for a meeting at Quarry Bank Mill with two lovely ladies, who work in the apprentice garden and the main garden.
The sun was shining and the clouds were fluffy white. The gardens were alive with the sound of bird song. The butterflies dancing in the air.
I felt so relaxed. Watching the tadpoles, newts and Jeremy Fisher in the pond. It’s great when you can take your office outside and have meetings in the garden.
A great perk of my job! 🙂 Mr. Robin did a lot of ‘chirping’ in and took the minutes of the meeting 🙂 I couldn’t get a word in edge ways!
Here are some pictures I took around the gardens…
A place of spring inspiration and to be at one with nature 😀 – buzzin!

Really lovely pictures. Im Andrew by the way who knows Barbara Bertwistle as she was one Of my learners. I see you were at Gardeners question time recording at Eccles sixth form college, my allotment friend, and partner of Balckshedsallotment, Biba, was there as well. I would love to visit your allotment some time in the summer and you are very welcome to come visit ours, Barbara loves it.
Hi Andrew, thanks for your lovely comment. Barbara has told me about your allotment, I’d love to meet up and come and take some pictures 🙂 I’ll be in touch to set up at time to meet. It’d be lovely for you to come and see our plot too 🙂
Just lovely. Oh I love spring so much! Especially love those sweet pics of the Robin. Hard to pick favorites from your shots though. All so beautiful. Happy spring, Kaz!
Hi Lottie, I was amazed you found my blog, as I only set it up on Wednesday. I have written another post and linked to your blog. Your blog is beautiful. I love the photos. Wow. Not sure mine is going to look like that!
Wonderful photos…great seeing the frog, and that little bee having a drink. I never seem to have my camera with me at the right time!
